The Rockies urgently require host families to provide lodging and meals to out-of-town players aged 16 to 20 during the upcoming 2007-2008 junior hockey season.

Host families are asked to:


Families who open their homes to these players receive $450 monthly compensation and a seasons ticket to our home games.

Our team screens both players and prospective host families to match personality and backgrounds and to ensure a positive and rewarding billet experience for both parties.


Provide a private bedroom for the billeting athlete or other accommodations that afford reasonable privacy.

Provide a prepared evening meal and make available appropriate foods so that players may prepare their own breakfasts, lunches and snacks.

Blend the billeting player into family life as much possible and provide adult guidance.

Rockies Main Camp

The Columbia Valley Rockies main camp will be held Aug 26,27,28. The Camp will be held at the Eddie Mountain memorial located in Invermere,BC. Free Conditioning Camp For WVMHA

The Columbia Valley Rockies will be holding free conditioning camps for Windermere Valley Minor Hockey Association players. The camp will be open for Initiation - Bantam players who are registered with WVMHA. The dates for the camps are Sept 8,9,and 11th.
